  • Game 27 Trios

Roll, multiply by 5, and claim a square. Three in a row scores five points. A two-player strategy board for the ×5 facts, with boards included.

  • Game 28 Capture 5 First

Each player pairs a hidden card with a chosen factor of 2, 5 or 10, hoping for the greater product. First to five points wins. Index cards included.

  • Game 29 How Low Can You Go?

A draw-and-discard card game where players pair six cards into three products and try for the lowest total. Zeros are gold. Three to four players.

  • Game 30 Squares Bingo

Bingo for square numbers. Draw a card, square it, cover the product. Five in a row wins. Includes the printable 5×5 board.

  • Game 31 Multiplication Pathways

Two players cooperate to cross the board left to right, moving one paper clip at a time to make the next product. Miss and you go back to Start.

  • Game 32 Fixed Factor War

War with one factor held constant. Flip a card, multiply by the fixed factor, and the greater product takes the cards. The best way to drill a single fact set.

  • Game 33 Strive to Derive

Array cards plus a marker. Players partition an array to show Adding a Group or Subtracting a Group. Ten points wins. Built for deriving the 3s, 6s, 9s and 10s.

  • Game 34 Crossed Wires

Draw horizontal lines, draw vertical lines, count the intersections. A pencil-and-paper game that makes an array something children build themselves.

  • Game 35 Rectangle Fit

Roll two dice and fit that rectangle onto your grid without overlapping. When you can no longer fit one, you are out. Last player standing wins.

  • Game 36 The Factor Game

Claim a number and your opponent scores all its uncovered factors. A two-player classic that teaches factors, primes and strategy at once. Two board sizes included.

  • Game 37 The Right Price

Roll a price, then build the multiplication fact that gets closest without going over. Twelve points to the nearest. Two to four players.

  • Game 38 Multiplication Salute

The multiplication version of Salute. Cards on foreheads, the leader calls the product, and the other two divide to find their own card. Three players.

  • Game 39 The Product Game

Two paper clips on the factor strip, one product on the board, four in a row to win. A two-player classic where every move is a trade-off. Board included.

Description

What’s included

Every one of our 18 multiplication and division games as a single instant download, with all printable boards, array cards and recording sheets. The set walks the whole arc: building meaning through equal groups and arrays (Sticker Book Patterns, Crossed Wires, Rectangle Fit), targeted fact sets (On the Double, Trios, Capture 5 First, Squares Bingo, Fixed Factor War), derived-fact strategies (Strive to Derive), division through missing factors (Multiplication Salute), factors and multiples (The Factor Game), and open-ended multi-operation work (Net Zero, Softball Hits, Three Dice Take).

Why the bundle

Multiplication fluency depends less on drilling every fact than on knowing a few sets cold and having strategies to derive the rest. These games are sequenced for exactly that, and owning the set lets you match the game to the strategy you are teaching that week.

Grade level

2nd through 6th grade, depending on the game and the variation chosen.

Instant PDF download. Game instructions and printable materials adapted from the ideas in Math Fact Fluency by Jennifer Bay-Williams and Gina Kling (ASCD / NCTM, 2019).
