Description
What’s included
The Math Fact Game Box gathers the games and the materials to play them into a single physical kit, so there is nothing to print, cut or source. It is built for the situation most teachers actually face: wanting to start a game in the next five minutes, not after an evening at the laminator.
Why a box rather than a download
Almost every game in the collection needs the same short list of things — counters, dice, a deck of cards, printed boards. Assembling that once, properly, and keeping it in one place is the difference between games that get played weekly and a folder of PDFs that gets opened twice. Everything stores together between sessions, which matters in a classroom.
Skills covered
Addition and subtraction fact fluency — combinations of 10, doubles, counting on and back, missing addends and differences — through multiplication and division, including arrays, derived-fact strategies, factors and multiples.
Grade level
Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Game instructions and printable materials adapted from the ideas in Math Fact Fluency by Jennifer Bay-Williams and Gina Kling (ASCD / NCTM, 2019).
