Description
How it works
Players take turns rolling a die or drawing a card, multiplying by 5, and placing a counter on any square showing that product. Three in a row — horizontal, vertical or diagonal — scores five points. Play continues until no more trios are possible, and the highest score wins. New trios may intersect an existing one, but only at a single square, which is the rule that keeps the endgame interesting rather than a walkover.
What you’ll need
- The printable 5×5 Trios game board
- A 10-sided die, or a deck with face cards removed (ace = 1)
- Fifteen counters in each of two colours
