How it works
Print the card table on cardstock and cut out the cells — one set showing expressions like 8 + 9, the other showing the sums. Lay them face down in an array. Players turn two at a time hunting for an expression and its total, keeping any pair they find. Most pairs wins. The memory element means children see the same fact repeatedly across a game without it ever feeling like repetition.

Grade level
Kindergarten through 4th grade. Print the expression cards with small ten frames alongside them and children can lean on the strategies they have been taught rather than guessing.
